Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Python-based web applications and REST APIs (Django, Flask, FastAPI).
• Excellent English level (written and verbal).
• Strong knowledge of OOP, ORM, SQL, and data processing using Pandas, NumPy, PySpark, or similar tools.

• Design and maintain end-to-end data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and storage.
• Integrate multiple data sources and develop data transformations to enhance data quality and usability.
• Ensure data accuracy, reliability, and availability while monitoring and troubleshooting pipeline issues.
• Build and maintain high-performance REST APIs using Python.
• Develop and support Azure-based data platforms, Data Warehouses, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Collaborate with data analytics teams to deliver scalable data solutions.

They are seeking a Senior Python Software Engineer to collaborate with teams in Bulgaria and the Netherlands on the development and enhancement of complex software systems.

Job Description

• Design and maintain end-to-end data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and storage

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on developing Python-based web applications and REST APIs (Django, Flask, FastAPI)
• Excellent English level (both written and verbal)
• Strong knowledge of OOP, ORM, SQL, and data processing using Pandas, NumPy, PySpark, or similar tools
• Experience building secure, scalable applications and optimizing performance
• Understanding of Big data technologies and Data engineering practices
• Experience with Azure Cloud services, including Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, and storage solutions
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and distributed/Cloud computing environments
• Previous experience in Data Engineering, preferably within the Microsoft ecosystem
