The Senior Product Manager is responsible for owning and driving a portfolio of countries within the Global Payroll expansion team, while also supporting the growth and efficiency of the organization. In addition to the core responsibilities of a Product Manager, the Senior Product Manager provides mentorship and coaching to Junior and Product Managers, manages more complex projects, and demonstrates greater autonomy in decision-making and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage a defined portfolio of countries as the accountable Product Manager.
  • Define product scope, success metrics, and business outcomes aligned to overall strategy.
  • Lead more complex or high-impact projects that drive organizational growth and efficiency.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to Junior Product Managers and Product Managers.
  • Translate strategic priorities into actionable roadmaps that are visible and well-communicated internally and externally.
  • Partner with Solution Design on feasibility and ensure requirements are translated into clear deliverables.
  • Prioritize backlog items for design and engineering teams, providing clear direction and context.
  • Conduct backlog grooming and sprint planning to ensure alignment on scope and timelines.
  • Take ownership of internal and external product roadmaps, keeping stakeholders informed and aligned.
  • Manage advanced stakeholder communications with senior leaders, executives, and cross-regional stakeholders.
  • Act as a key escalation point for country-specific or cross-functional challenges.
  • Champion best practices across the product function to enhance delivery quality and consistency.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

  • You'll likely have 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager in a fast-paced SaaS, compliance/regulatory heavy environment like fintech or Payroll environment.
  • Proven track record of end-to-end product ownership, including roadmap, scope, and stakeholder management.
  • Strong expertise in mentoring, coaching, and guiding junior colleagues.
  • Ability to independently manage complex projects with significant business impact.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and proven ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Demonstrated autonomy in decision-making and ability to influence at senior levels.
