About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and outcome-driven Fraud Prevention Product Manager to join our team. In this role, you will lead the strategy, development, and execution of VIDA's Fraud Prevention product suite. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that mitigate fraud risks, protect users, and ensure a secure digital ecosystem for our customers.

Responsibilities

Strategic Vision & Product Development

  • Lead the vision and strategy for VIDA's Fraud Prevention product suite, focusing on proactive fraud detection and prevention solutions.
  • Define and deliver scalable fraud prevention tools, integrating advanced analytics, AI/ML models, and behavioral biometrics to detect anomalies.


Fraud Detection & Mitigation
  • Develop and enhance fraud prevention mechanisms such as real-time risk scoring, anomaly detection, and behavioral analysis to safeguard user transactions.
  • Design and implement fraud management workflows, including automated rule-based and AI-driven fraud prevention systems.


Lifecycle Management
  • Oversee fraud detection lifecycle management, ensuring continuous updates to adapt to evolving fraud patterns and user behaviors.


Integration & Scalability
  • Ensure seamless integration of fraud prevention solutions with core authentication, payment, and verification systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize fraud detection tools for high-performance and scalability across diverse user bases.


Data-Driven Decision Making
  • Leverage fraud analytics and risk assessment data to identify trends, improve fraud detection accuracy, and enhance product performance.
  • Collaborate with data science teams to drive the adoption of machine learning models and real-time monitoring solutions.


Compliance & Audit
  • Ensure the product complies with industry regulations and regional compliance standards, delivering audit trails, reporting, and policy enforcement capabilities.


Market & Competitor Analysis
  • Stay updated on fraud trends, emerging threats, regulatory requirements, and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.


Additional Responsibilities
  • Partner with engineering, risk, operations, and product marketing teams to define product requirements, user stories, and priorities.
  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap and release plan with clear delivery timelines and milestones.
  • Drive user research, analyze customer pain points, and identify opportunities for product improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define success metrics and monitor fraud prevention product performance.
  • Ensure smooth product handover to operations, customer success, and marketing teams, including go-to-market (GTM) strategies.


Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, IT, Business, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in B2B product management, with a focus on fraud prevention, risk management, or related security products.
  • Strong understanding of fraud detection systems, behavioral analytics, anomaly detection, and risk-based scoring solutions.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML tools, data-driven decision-making frameworks, and scalable fraud prevention architectures.
  • Experience integrating fraud prevention tools with core platforms (e.g., identity verification, authentication, and payment systems).
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional, multicultural stakeholders, particularly within the Southeast Asian market.
  • Based out of the Jakarta office with a strong understanding of the regional digital landscape.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, agile environments with a focus on collaboration and innovation.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong technical acumen and familiarity with cloud technologies.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with leading fraud prevention tools or platforms such as Kount, FICO, ThreatMetrix, or DataVisor.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements in Indonesia and Southeast Asia, such as OJK and Bank Indonesia guidelines.
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML models for fraud prevention, risk scoring, and behavioral biometrics.
  • Strong knowledge of API-based integrations, data security, and scalable product architectures.
  • Proficiency in user research, data analytics, and risk mitigation strategies.
