GrabFin is developing the payments and fintech services of tomorrow for Southeast Asians. Currently, more than 60% of Southeast Asians are unbanked or underbanked. GrabFin aims to change that by empowering consumers and partners with seamless, smart, and reliable financial products and cashless payment solutions.

Get to know the role

As a Senior Product Designer on the Lending team, you will own product design outcomes and practices for multiple problem space teams, ensuring quality and excellence. You will collaborate to explore user needs and create impactful solutions. The role reports directly to the manager and is fully onsite.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Guide product design outcomes and set direction across teams; manage complex projects.
• Ensure solutions address value, usability, feasibility, and viability, with minimal waste, while safeguarding goals.
• Defend design decisions and persuade senior stakeholders.
• Facilitate collaboration across domains and teams through discussions, workshops, and exploration.
• Lead problem exploration, solution discovery, and delivery independently.
• Support designers in adjacent teams to improve their work.
• Develop problem-framing approaches to lead to innovative solutions.
• Design simple solutions for complex problems, integrating multiple products into cohesive experiences to unlock new value.
• Create visual designs that enhance quality, consistency, and credibility of user experiences.
• Use various prototyping tools to produce interactive prototypes with complex functionalities.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Provide a portfolio of recent design work in English, showcasing your contribution and impact. Include clear context, your end-to-end workflow, and how you move from problem discovery to launch.
• 4+ years of product design experience.
• Experience working with cross-functional product teams.
• Strong fundamentals in interaction and visual design.
• Knowledge of mobile and web standards and development.
• Experience with Figma, Protopie, After Effects, or other design tools.
• Experience in Service Design, User Research, Front-end Development, Accessible Design, or Design Systems.
