Senior Product Analyst - Regional Payroll

Designation: Senior Product Analyst - Regional Payroll

Reporting to: Deputy Product Director – Regional Payroll

Purpose

The job holder must ensure that payroll products are aligned with employment and statutory regulations for the payroll countries. He/she must possess thorough knowledge of payroll products and be capable of performing tasks independently. The role involves understanding requirements and regulations from local/regional payroll teams, analyzing them, providing system solutions, and writing Payroll Functional Specifications. Additionally, the incumbent should be able to coach and guide junior team members.

Pre-requisites

• Degree in Information Systems, Payroll, HR, or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience with HRMS Products
• Preferably regional payroll experience in implementation, support, or system testing
• Extensive knowledge of Payroll Product Analysis, Solution Design, Testing, writing Payroll Functional Specifications, and Basic SQL
• Proactive, initiative-driven, and accountable in meeting work demands
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-demand environment

Duties & Responsibilities

Product

• Serve as the system solution provider for regional payroll products
• Analyze and test payroll functionalities reported by local/regional teams and communicate required system change requests
• Conduct business process analysis and propose system enhancements, customizations, or new functionalities
• Understand employment and statutory regulations for payroll countries and ensure system compliance
• Identify discrepancies between the payroll system and country regulations, and request necessary changes
• Write Payroll Functional Specifications understandable by all parties, including R&D and QA teams
• Take overall responsibility to meet deadlines and work demands
• Coach and guide junior team members as needed
• Ensure key performance indicators are met
• Take additional responsibilities when required

Interaction with Other Departments

• Coordinate with Project Management, Service Delivery, and Support Teams on enhancements, customizations, and new functionalities
• Follow up with R&D and QA teams on payroll product requests from local/regional teams

Others

• Participate in Quality Actions for regional payroll products
• Perform other duties as assigned
