Job summary

PT ENVIROMATE TECHNOLOGY INTERNATIONAL is seeking an experienced Senior Process Safety Engineer with a Chemical Engineering background to support EPCIC projects in the Oil & Gas and energy sectors. The role requires hands-on process engineering and process safety experience within major EPCIC environments.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, shows a track record across at least two EPCIC projects, and has strong proficiency in HAZID, HAZOP, SIL/LOPA, and QRA

Qualifications

• Mandatory: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Total professional experience: minimum 10 years.
• Minimum 7 years in Oil & Gas and/or Energy projects.
• Minimum 2 years in Process Engineering / Process Safety Engineering, senior/lead capacity.
• Proven experience on at least 2 EPCIC projects.
• Strong background in Process Engineering and Process Safety Engineering in EPC projects.
• Experience with process safety studies and deliverables: HAZID, HAZOP, SIL/LOPA, QRA.
• Experience reviewing/ developing PFD, P&ID, Design Basis, equipment sizing, process calculations.
• Able to work with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project teams.
• Willing to work in a project/site environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute and coordinate Process Engineering and Process Safety Engineering activities throughout the EPCIC project lifecycle.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate process engineering and process safety deliverables.
• Participate in and/or lead HAZID, HAZOP, SIL/LOPA, QRA, and other process safety studies.
• Review engineering deliverables to ensure compliance with process safety requirements, project specifications, and applicable standards.
• Coordinate process safety requirements with other engineering disciplines, construction, commissioning, HSE, and project teams.
• Support implementation and resolution of process safety requirements throughout project execution.
• This position requires a Chemical Engineering degree and excludes candidates without that background.
