Job summary

A technology solutions provider in Jakarta Barat is seeking a Presales Engineer to develop and propose technical solutions across various projects. Overview

Gathering information from customer to identify customer’s needs. Analyzing, developing, and proposing technical solutions (technology and equipments). Making design, bill of material, scope of works, schedule and proposal. Delivering presentation about technical solutions to customer. If needed, doing demo or proof of concept. Coordinating with external parties (vendors, principals, distributors) to obtain required information (price, demo equipment, technical specifications) to provide technical solutions. Coordinating with other departments to provide required information before the project begins. Providing mentoring and training to Presales team.

Responsibilities

• Gather information from customers to identify needs and requirements.
• Analyze, develop, and propose technical solutions (technology and equipment).
• Design, prepare bill of materials, define scope of works, develop schedules, and create proposals.
• Deliver presentations about technical solutions to customers.
• Perform demos or proof of concept when required.
• Coordinate with external parties (vendors, principals, distributors) to obtain information (price, demo equipment, technical specifications) to provide technical solutions.
• Coordinate with other departments to provide required information before the project begins.
• Provide mentoring and training to the Presales team.

Qualifications

• Minimum S1 graduate from IT, Information System, Telecommunication Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as Presales Engineer or similar.
• In-depth understanding of Data Center & Hybrid Cloud concepts.
• Knowledge and experience with virtualization (VMware).
• Knowledge and experience with Containers & Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Knowledge and experience with Automation & Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform).
• Knowledge and experience with Monitoring & Observability (ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, ManageEngine, Dynatrace) is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience with Cloud Management Platforms (CloudBolt, Morpheus) is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows Server environments, including Active Directory and related services, and Microsoft 365.
• Excellent communication, presentation, reporting, and negotiation skills; proficiency in English.
• Fast learner, proactive, detail-oriented, able to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
