Job summary

amIT Global Solutions Sdn Bhd in Indonesia seeks an experienced QA/QC Piping Inspector to review vendor and subcontractor piping/line checker procedures and ensure compliance with project standards. The role reports to the QA/QC Manager and focuses on quality control for piping activities in procurement and construction.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, 8+ years in piping welding and inspection, and relevant NDT certifications (RT/MT/PT).

Qualifications

• Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• At least 8 years in piping welding, weld tracking, test package development, and piping inspection.
• Experience with P&ID is preferred.
• Certified in welding inspection with valid RT/MT/PT certificates.
• Good PC/reporting skills and procedure review.

Responsibilities

• Review Vendor/Subcontractor Piping/Line Checker procedures.
• Report to QA/QC Manager for piping/Line Checker scope of work.
• Perform quality inspections for the procurement and construction process.
• Support NCR and other Piping/Line Checker issues.
• Participate in continual improvement and preventive action program.
