Indospace Group is seeking a seasoned furniture designer/product manager to drive the look and feel of our outdoor furniture. You will sketch, draft, and refine designs for mass production while collaborating with engineers, woodworkers, and suppliers to meet cost targets.

Strong understanding of ergonomics and human anatomy is essential, as is fluent English and a proven product lifecycle track record. Role requires leading by example, staying on-trend, and delivering practical, market-ready

Qualificações

• 5+ years experience in the outdoor furniture industry.
• 5+ years experience in product management, product development, retail merchandising, or related.
• 2+ years of experience scaling new product categories in a B2B consumer products brand.
• Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product through its lifecycle, with an understanding of supply chain and sourcing processes.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare technical drawings, sections and details as per requirement.
• Perform drafting and design work.
• Ensure all drawings comply with the company's quality standards.
• Rectify and update the latest drawing according to changes.
• Able to undertake any other duties assigned.
• Determine and develop user requirements for systems in production, to ensure maximum usability.
• Carry out research to help develop ideas.
• Produce new designs, or improve existing ones.
• Creating sketches and drawings of new designs using AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Meeting to discuss needs and preferences and recommending materials, colors, and styles that will meet their goals.
• Take into account size, shape, ergonomics and production methods when producing design ideas.
• Developing a thorough understanding of current trends in style so new designs will be desirable to consumers.
• Reviewing existing furniture designs to identify opportunities for improvement or change.
