Amartha is a tech-forward microfinance firm striving for inclusive growth. We are seeking an experienced leader to maintain and enhance our Operational Risk Management framework, reporting to committees and the board, and ensuring regulatory compliance across the organization.

You will guide risk assessment, appetite monitoring, and internal controls while advising business units on risk during new initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in management or related field.
• Certifications in risk management, internal control or audit are required.
• Experience designing and implementing risk management frameworks and controls.
• Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities with regulatory insight.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update and implement the Operational Risk Management framework and related policies.
• Escalate risk issues and present action plans to risk committees and boards.
• Monitor Risk Appetite and provide timely risk reports and analyses.
• Advise business units on risk controls during new products or policy changes.
• Collaborate with ERM, Compliance, IT, Finance, and Internal Audit for coordinated risk management.
• Lead risk training programs and risk culture initiatives across the organization.
