Job summary

Fugro Indonesia is seeking a Project Manager to lead offshore geotechnical investigations in the APAC region, coordinating between client, vessel and offshore project teams. Projects range from small investigations to multi-month campaigns, with international collaboration across Fugro offices.

Candidates should have a Civil Engineering degree, at least five years in a similar role, offshore geotechnical or drilling experience, strong English, and a commercial or tendering mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent with minimum 5 years relevant working experience in a similar role.
• Preferably with offshore geotechnical experience or offshore drilling experience.
• Professional Certification in Project Management will be an advantage.
• Strong interest in project management and liaison between client, vessel and subcontractors.
• Excellent oral and writing skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate offshore geotechnical investigations according to Fugro PM handbook; from start-up to close-out and evaluation.
• Work with Tendering, Operations, Vessel Management and Geotechnical Engineering Teams.
• Pre-plan fieldwork and liaise with Client representatives to define scope and deliverables.
• Manage Project Execution Plans, including Operational, Quality, HSSE and Emergency Plans.
• Communicate specifications within the project team and control budgets.
