Job Description: Senior Network Security Engineer

We are seeking a capable senior network security engineer who enjoys working with IT infrastructure and security, possessing both deep and broad expertise in the security domain. Your role will involve enhancing security by protecting system boundaries, hardening information systems and network devices against attacks, and securing highly sensitive data.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
2. Manage project deployment lifecycle: define requirements, design systems, support testing, and oversee live implementation.
3. Monitor and test hardware and system performance.
4. Assist with systems planning, business information analysis, and process improvements.
5. Support staff and end users in resolving system issues, malfunctions, or hardware problems.
6. Collaborate with customers to understand technical requirements and provide suitable solutions, including detailed technical specifications for product definition.

Job Responsibilities:

Plan, implement, install, operate, and maintain hardware systems, cybersecurity/network security systems, software applications, and IT infrastructure.

Ensure strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are applied.

Manage the entire project deployment lifecycle from requirements gathering to live deployment.

Oversee testing and performance monitoring of hardware and systems.

Provide support for systems planning, business analysis, and process improvements.

Assist staff and end users with resolving technical issues.

Work closely with clients to define technical requirements and deliver appropriate technical solutions.

Requirements:

• Passion for cybersecurity.
• Experience in a related position is a plus; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Quick learner, hardworking, multitasker, proficient in English, with good communication and presentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP services (DNS, DHCP, TFTP, SSH, SMTP, etc.) and internet routing protocols (RIP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, IGRP).
• Proficiency with firewall, IDS/IPS, WAF, and monitoring tools.
• Ability to read and analyze Wireshark PCAP files.
• Familiarity with Linux and Unix systems.
• Experience with network/security equipment (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, etc.) is an advantage.
• Relevant industry certifications are mandatory.

Preferences:

• Over 3 years of experience in the same industry and role.
• Professional certifications from industry leaders (Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet, etc.).

Soft Skills:

• Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to present reports effectively.
