Job Description: Senior Network Security Engineer

We are seeking a capable senior network security engineer who enjoys IT infrastructure and security work, possessing both deep and broad expertise in the security domain. Your role will involve enhancing system security by protecting boundaries, hardening information systems and network devices against attacks, and securing highly sensitive data.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.

Key Responsibilities

1. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
2. Manage project deployment lifecycle: define requirements, design systems, support testing, and oversee live implementation.
3. Monitor hardware and system performance through testing and oversight.
4. Assist with systems planning, business information analysis, and process improvements.
5. Support staff and end-users in resolving system issues, malfunctions, or hardware problems.
6. Collaborate with customers to understand technical requirements and provide suitable solutions, including detailed technical specifications for products.

Requirements

• Passion for cybersecurity.
• Experience in a related position is a plus; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Quick learner, hardworking, multitasker, with good English, communication, and presentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP services (DNS, DHCP, TFTP, SSH, SMTP, etc.) and internet routing protocols (RIP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, IGRP).
• Experience with Firewall/IDS/IPS/WAF and monitoring tools.
• Ability to read and analyze Wireshark PCAP files.
• Familiarity with Linux and Unix systems.
• Experience with network or security equipment (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco, HPE Aruba, Juniper, Bluecoat, F5, Riverbed) is an advantage.
• Relevant industry certifications are required.

Preferences

• Over 3 years of experience in the same industry and role.
• Professional certifications from industry leaders (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet, Check Point).

• Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
