We are looking for a capable senior network security engineer who enjoys IT infrastructure and security work, possessing both deep and wide expertise in the security space. You will make systems more secure by protecting boundaries, hardening information systems and network devices against attacks, and securing highly sensitive data.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strong troubleshooting skills and responsibility for problem solving.
2. Manage project deployment lifecycle, define requirements, design systems, support testing, and oversee live implementation.
3. Oversee testing and monitoring of hardware and system performance.
4. Assist with systems planning, business information analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
5. Support staff and end users with resolution of system issues, malfunctions, or hardware problems.
6. Work closely with customers to understand technical requirements and provide solutions, including detailed technical specifications for product definition.

Job Description:

Plan, implement, install, operate, and maintain hardware systems, cyber/network security systems, software applications, and IT infrastructure.

Apply strong troubleshooting skills and problem-solving responsibilities.

Manage project deployment lifecycle, define requirements, design systems, support testing, and oversee live implementation.

Oversee testing and monitoring of hardware and system performance.

Assist with systems planning, business information analysis, and process improvement initiatives.

Support staff and end users with resolution of system issues, malfunctions, or hardware problems.

Work closely with customers to understand technical requirements and provide solutions, including detailed technical specifications for product definition.

Requirements:

• Passionate about cybersecurity.
• Experience in a related position is a plus; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Must be a quick learner, hardworking, capable of multitasking, with good English, communication, and presentation skills.
• Possess at least a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, electrical engineering, or equivalent.
• Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP-based services (DNS, DHCP, TFTP, SSH, SMTP, etc.).
• Excellent knowledge of internet routing protocols (RIP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, IGRP).
• Excellent knowledge of Firewall/IDS/IPS/WAF and monitoring tools.
• Ability to read and analyze Wireshark PCAP files.
• Familiarity with Linux and Unix.
• Experience with network or security equipment (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco, HPE Aruba, Juniper, Bluecoat, F5, Riverbed) is an advantage.
• Relevant industry certifications are required.

Preferences:

• Over 3 years of experience in the same industry and position.
• Professional certifications from industry leaders (Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet, Check Point, etc.).
