Job summary

Qualifications

• NDT knowledge across methods and interpretation of results.
• Ability to translate codes, standards, and procedures to on-site testing instructions.
• Experience supervising Level 2 technicians and reporting results.

Responsibilities

• Select the NDT technique for testing method.
• Define the limitations of the testing method.
• Translate codes, standards, and procedures into on-site instructions.
• Set up and verify equipment settings.
• Perform and supervise tests.
• Interpret results according to standards.
• Carry out and supervise all tasks at or below Level 2.
• Provide guidance for personnel at or below Level 2.
• Report the results of NDT.
