Job description

We are looking for talented young individuals to join our Merchandising team at our corporate office, located in Jakarta.

About Us

We are one of the leading Intimates apparel producers catering to all major buyers in the United States of America, Europe, Australia & Asia. We have been in the industry for more than 30 years. Having three modern production facilities in central Java.

Responsibilities

• Manage an overall buyer/account relationship and be accountable for development, execution, performance, growth & profitability
• Communicating with buyer regularly for assigned buyer/account and maintaining the relationship
• Garment costing for development and bulk orders, incl. price negotiations with vendors and for order allocations
• Problem solving with team for any issues (fabric, trims, fits, production, delivery, etc)
• Material management and reconciliation to optimize procurement and utilization
• Build customer relationship and achieve annual sales targets
• Drive for product development with design, Costing, PPIC, Purchasing, Production teams on design, raw material, costing, quotation and TNA
• Follow up all aspects with clients, including material sourcing,product development, merchandising, production process, quality and shipment schedules, etc
• Monitor production and shipment status, closely communicate with customers and the relevant parties for potential problem foreseen to ensure appropriate and timely action is taken
• Handle ad-hoc projects as assigned

Qualifications

• Degree holder in any discipline (preferably in Garment/ Fashion related field)
• 5+ years of merchandising experience in garment industry (preferably in Lingerie) as Senior Merchandiser
• Strong understanding of production processes (Planning & Executing), Supply chain management, supporting Design development & costing.
• Independent, outgoing, presentable, sales oriented, target oriented, detail oriented, well-organized, diligent, hardworking, analytical, focused, and committed
• Able to work independently to execute product development and orders from design concept, placement of orders till final shipment
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Strong in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Occasional travelling to Central Java or overseas if required
• Candidate with less experience could be considered as merchandiser.
