Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join one of our clients, a Coal Mining Company. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in mechanical engineering, particularly within the mining industry. This position will play a critical role in overseeing mechanical systems, leading engineering projects, and ensuring the efficient operation of their facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain mechanical systems and equipment used in mining operations.
2. Lead a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support.
3. Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to ensure the reliability of mechanical systems.
4. Collaborate with other departments to improve operational efficiency and safety.
5. Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment.
6. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
7. Prepare technical reports and documentation as needed.
8. Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
2. Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 5 years in the mining sector.
3. Proven leadership skills and experience managing engineering teams, especially in mining sectors.
4. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, design principles, and maintenance practices.
5. Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7. Strong communication skills; fluent in English and Bahasa (preferred).

This position is for expatriates, with a preference for candidates from India who have experience working in Indonesia.
