About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer responsible for overseeing the condition and performance of the mechanical equipments, and managing all maintenance activities in line with contracted O&M services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Mechanical Maintenance Plan for all plant systems.
• Organize and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities, coordinating closely with the Senior Operation Manager and Deputy Plant Manager to minimize impact on plant operations.
• Maintain and update the Asset Management Plan with accurate and timely data.
• Prepare daily and monthly maintenance reports, highlighting key issues, actions taken, and suggestions for improvements.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor to plan and execute maintenance activities according to the approved procedures.
• Review and approve CMS data entries, including spare parts and consumables used, ensuring all work orders are properly documented.
• Ensure cleanliness and order at all mechanical work sites, maintaining safe and organized workspaces.
• Promote a strong safety and compliance culture by enforcing company standards, conducting regular training sessions, and mentoring maintenance personnel.
• Oversee the care and proper use of tools and equipment, ensuring the availability and readiness of essential maintenance tools.
• Propose and support continuous improvement initiatives related to mechanical systems, including new activities that may be incorporated into future contractual scopes.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10 years of Mechanical maintenance experience with 3 years minimum in a water treatment plant or related industries.
• Bi-lingual; English, Indonesian.
• Practical knowledge of the Labour and QHSE regulations in Indonesia.
• Leadership and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of IT tools (Office suite, SCADA systems).
