What you’ll do
  • Conduct regular daily site visits, attend TBT each day, inspect contractors PTW.
  • Actively conduct system Mechanical Completion walkdowns when invited.
  • Attend project meetings as required.
  • Draft construction letters and reports as needed.
  • Monitor activities of EPC contractor and subcontractors to ensure compliance with specifications and procedures, report discrepancies or non-conformances.
  • Implement corporate and project policies, procedures, and instructions within your operations.
  • Ensure safety codes, site procedures, and standards are followed, acting as a safety leader.
  • Maintain effective relationships with EPC contractors and PERTAMINA, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Oversee mechanical work packages from approval to closeout and testing.
  • Identify potential problems, analyze, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with PERTAMINA operating personnel for work implementation.
  • Verify installation of items per drawings, standards, and specifications.
  • Maintain punch lists, document defects, and generate reports at each project phase.
  • Participate in system turnover and provide guidance on NCRs.
  • Interface with PERTAMINA and PMC engineering teams.
  • Attend weekly site safety walks.
  • Manage responses to site queries from EPC contractors.
  • Coordinate with site personnel, contractors, and procurement for schedules and progress reports.
  • Verify contractor progress claims and claims for variations.
  • Coordinate with operations for planning shutdowns and turnarounds.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to construction teams and EPC personnel.
  • Assist in detailed design and constructability reviews.
  • Ensure EPC contractor develops and follows appropriate execution plans.
What you’ll have

Strong knowledge of Mechanical Completion and related processes. Construction engineers should have interdisciplinary knowledge and collaborate with other discipline engineers.
