The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Mechanic to join us in Dili, Timor-Leste. This is a full-time role maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles and machinery.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in preventive maintenance, diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical issues, managing workshop resources, and maintaining safety standards. You will also provide guidance and support to junior team members and ensure effective documentation of all repair activities.

The Perfect Fit

To be considered for the role, the ideal candidate will:

• Hold a diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Trade
• Have at least 3 years of hands-on experience as a mechanic
• Demonstrate the ability to perform a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks across passenger, commercial, and heavy machinery (e.g., excavators, loaders, trucks, motorcycles)
• Be proficient in using mechanical tools and diagnostic equipment
• Have good planning, communication, and reporting skills
• Be capable of working independently and as part of a team
• Language requirements: English and Bahasa Indonesia (Mandarin is an advantage)
