As Senior Marketing Communication Specialist plays a pivotal role in promoting exhibitions, programs, and initiatives through the development and execution of strategic communication plans. This role involves enhancing the museum's visibility, engaging a wide range of audiences, and strengthening relationships within the community. You will be involved in:
- Communication Strategy:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing communication strategies aligned with the museum's goals
- Write press releases, coordinate press events and manage media inquiries, ensuring timely and effective communication
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with local/national and international media
- Collaborate with museum teams and third parties to enhance the museum's visibility in Bali and beyond.
- Social Media Management:
- Develop and implement a social media strategy to increase engagement of the museum's online presence
- Produce promotional content for various social media platforms and the museum's website
- Monitor social media channels and respond to audience inquiries and comments
- Event Promotion:
- Plan and promote events, exhibitions, and educational programs
- Coordinate marketing efforts for events to maximize attendance.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and audience preferences
- Analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies and campaigns, providing recommendations for improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Art and Literature or related fields
- Proven experience of at least 5 years in Marketing, Communication and/or Public Relations within museums, cultural institutions or related cultural settings
- In charge of promotional campaigns regarding art and culture
- Active involvement in promotion of cultural activities
- Experience in working with diverse and international audiences
- Strong ability to promote cultural events, programs and exhibitions
- Passion for art and culture
- Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing tools
- Knowledge of museum operations and audience engagement strategies
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Indonesian.
- Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite)
