We are currently seeking a Senior Magento 2 Developer (Fullstack) to join our team in Surabaya. This role reports directly to the Software Development Team Lead and plays a key role in designing, executing, and delivering software solutions tailored to client needs.

Responsibilities

General Responsibilities

Lead the technical delivery of software applications for internal users.

Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC): requirements, design, coding, testing, deployment.

Work independently and collaboratively to deliver and maintain projects.

Provide support and guidance to team members and business users.

Ensure consistency, reliability, and performance across the B2BE development environment.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams across regions for successful project delivery.

Magento-Specific Responsibilities

Develop and customize Magento 2 modules (backend) and themes (frontend).

Customize Magento 2 templates (PHTML), layout XML, and static assets.

Implement backend features: modules, plugins, observers, REST and GraphQL APIs.

Work with Elasticsearch for catalog search and performance tuning.

Optimize and manage Magento 2 databases (MySQL/MariaDB).

Ensure scalability, security, and high performance of Magento 2 systems.

Troubleshoot and maintain existing Magento 2 platforms.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in PHP web development (Laravel, Symfony, Zend).

Strong experience with Magento 2 (frontend and backend).

Deep understanding of Magento 2 architecture and components.

Experience with Elasticsearch setup and tuning.

Solid knowledge of MySQL/MariaDB optimization.

Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON.

Strong grasp of web security principles.

Proficiency with Git version control.

Nice to Have

Experience with jQuery.

Exposure to PWA Studio, Vue Storefront, or headless Magento solutions.

Knowledge of AWS, Azure, and CI/CD pipelines.

Understanding of caching strategies (Varnish, Redis).
