Job summary

Nusantech is seeking a Senior Backend Developer with strong Java Spring Boot experience to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs powering our applications. As a senior member, you will influence system design, ensure code quality, and mentor junior developers.

You will design and develop robust backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices, while collaborating with frontend teams, product managers, and QA to deliver high-quality features.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend Java experience.
• Strong Spring Boot and Spring ecosystem knowledge.
• Experience with relational DBs( PostgreSQL/MySQL ) and Hibernate.
• RESTful API design and versioning.
• Git and CI/CD tooling experience.
• Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes and cloud services.
• Unit/integration testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable backend services using Java/Spring Boot.
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Collaborate with frontend, product, and QA to deliver features.
• Optimize performance and database queries; ensure system reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, planning, and architecture discussions.
• Implement unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide long-term fixes.
• Maintain documentation of code, APIs, and flows.
