Job summary

R17 Group seeks a seasoned IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity Engineer to manage, secure, and optimize enterprise environments in Jakarta. You will design and operate networks, servers, and cloud infra, conduct vulnerability assessments, respond to incidents, and provide high-level technical guidance to multinational clients.

You will act as a technical escalation point, implement proactive monitoring, and ensure service availability across OSI layers, networks, servers, and security systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/Cybersecurity or related field
• 3+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Network Eng, Cybersecurity or similar
• Strong OSI model, network protocols, and enterprise infrastructure understanding
• Hands-on experience with networks, servers, OS, virtualization, and cloud/hybrid infra
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, vulnerability assessment, monitoring, incident response, threat intel
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across network, server, and security environments
• Certifications preferred: CompTIA Server+, Cloud+, Security+
• Strong customer-facing communication and professional English proficiency
• Ability to work under pressure with high accountability
• Proactive, fast-response mindset during incidents and outages

Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor, secure, and optimize enterprise IT infrastructure across networks, servers, OS, and cloud environments
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex network and infra issues across OSI layers for performance and reliability
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, monitor threats, respond to incidents, mitigate risks
• Perform Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) activities for security risk identification
• Design, configure, maintain, and scale network, server, and cloud infrastructure to support operations
• Implement proactive system monitoring, updates, and security improvements to minimize downtime
• Serve as technical escalation point for complex infra and cybersecurity incidents
• Provide high-level technical support and consultation to customers and stakeholders
• Maintain effective communication with multinational principals and customers
• Ensure high service availability through rapid incident response and proper troubleshooting
