Job summary

Nomni is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to own our iOS-based POS product, delivering new features, performance improvements, and key architectural work. You’ll work with cross-functional teams across Android, Backend, QA, and Product to build tools for hospitality operators.

You will maintain and evolve the iOS POS app using modern Swift and Objective-C, while mentoring junior engineers and shaping CI/CD processes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of iOS software development experience.
• 5+ years with Objective-C and contributions to commercial apps.
• Advanced proficiency in Swift; strong UIKit knowledge.
• Experience with multithreading, design patterns, and scalable architecture (MVC, MVVM, Clean).
• Experience building POS-focused apps.
• Familiarity with Flutter is a plus.
• Experience with Firebase, Crashlytics, Fastlane, and GitHub Actions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and evolve iOS POS app with Swift/Obj-C.
• Design and implement new features and UI/UX improvements.
• Lead development of reusable components and frameworks, including Flutter integrations.
• Integrate app with backend services, APIs, and POS hardware.
• Monitor crash rates and improve performance; aim for 20% crash reduction in 6 months.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and engineers to ensure high-quality releases.
• Contribute to CI/CD, automated tests, and deployment.
• Mentor junior iOS engineers through code reviews and pairing.
