Job summary

Grab's Consumer Experience Engineering team seeks a Senior Software Engineer, Mobile (iOS) to lead iOS app development, architecture, and quality. You will mentor others, review code, and ensure performance and security across releases.

The role is on-site at Grab's Jakarta office, reporting to the Engineering Manager. Strong Swift and Objective-C skills, plus CI experience, are essential for delivering high-quality iOS products for Grab's broad user base.

Qualifications

• Min. 5 years of working experience, with 4+ years in iOS development.
• Proficient in Swift and Objective-C; familiar with iOS SDK and frameworks.
• Experience with Xcode, Git, and Jenkins.
• Strong understanding of iOS design patterns, usability, performance and security.
• Experience building maintainable, testable code; API design, unit and UI testing.
• Agile environment experience with iterative development and collaboration.
• Experience maintaining applications, crash analytics, remote debugging, and CI.

Responsibilities

• Develop iOS applications with high quality and on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with teams to identify requirements and deliver solutions.
• Create technical documentation including code comments and architecture diagrams.
• Troubleshoot complex issues using debugging tools to fix problems.
• Stay updated on iOS trends and apply them to improve processes and quality.
