Job summary

UltaHost is seeking a Senior Internal Security & Security Operations Engineer to own internal security controls and strengthen protection of workforce identities, systems, and day-to-day operations.

You will lead IAM, security monitoring, SOC operations, and incident response, ensuring proper access governance, credential security, and risk reduction across the organization. This hands-on role demands end-to-end ownership and collaboration with HR, IT, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in internal security, IAM, SOC/security operations, incident response, or related role.
• Experience with RBAC, MFA, SSO, PAM, identity providers, password management, and access auditing.
• Hands-on with SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, logging, and case management.
• Investigate compromised accounts, malware, credential leaks, suspicious activity, insider risk.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RBAC across departments and critical systems.
• Manage MFA, SSO, PAM, password vaults, and secret management.
• Monitor security events, investigate alerts, and coordinate incident response.
• Maintain detection rules, playbooks, and audit evidence.
• Lead internal security incidents affecting identities or credentials.
