Job summary

Qiscus is seeking a driven Legal Officer in Jakarta to draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, ensuring regulatory compliance and protecting company interests.

You will maintain contract templates, handle disputes with internal teams and external counsel, and advance legal operations through AI-enabled processes while delivering practical guidance on compliance and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law with bar admission.
• 4+ years in-house or law firm, IT/B2B SaaS preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian commercial law; PMA & litigation familiarity.
• Experience in contracts, IP, employment, data privacy, and tech regulations.
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements while ensuring compliance.
• Maintain and update commercial contract templates per laws and business needs.
• Handle commercial disputes by advising stakeholders and coordinating with external counsel.
• Improve legal operations through AI and technology adoption for efficiency.
• Provide practical legal guidance and compliance support to internal stakeholders.
