Baker Hughes is seeking a Quality Control Inspector/Operator-Expert in Batam to oversee final product quality and maintain inspection records. You will perform dimensional, hardness, phosphating, and assembly inspections, verify gauges, and issue NCRs for non‑conforming items.

Qualifications

• Diploma or technical high school with relevant experience in quality inspection.
• Understanding technical drawings and measurement tools is essential.
• Familiar with inspection and measurement of component parts in manufacturing.
• Able to read reports and verify gage calibration and report validity.
• Knowledge of Hydro tests, hardness testing and phosphate visual inspection.
• Awareness of Quality Management Systems and HSE practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee final quality of Baker Hughes products and maintain inspection records.
• Provide dimensional, COC, inspection reports and traceability in MO package.
• Support First Article Inspection (FAI) and in‑process inspection activities.
• Verify gauges and tool calibration; validate reports from outsource processes.
• Perform inspections per work orders (Dimensional, Hardness, Phosphating, Test, Assembly).
• Record inspection results and raise NCRs for non‑conforming items.
• Maintain complete, accurate inspection records per QMS; support Quality/HSE culture at Batam site.
