We are a prominent distributor of valves and actuators based in Bekasi, Indonesia. We are dedicated to delivering high quality products and solutions to our clients in the industrial sector. To enhance our Human Resource and General Affairs function, we are seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources & General Affairs Specialist to undertake all aspects of Human Resources Management and General Affairs within the company. In this role, you will work closely with the Directors of the Company to streamline these essential functions.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior HR & GA Specialist to lead and support key human resources and general affairs functions in our industrial valves and actuators business. This role will ensure alignment of HR strategies with business goals while maintaining smooth administrative operations across our facilities. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in industrial/manufacturing settings and is proactive in employee relations, compliance, and organizational development and helping to develop a strong workforce to help achieve the business goals of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee end-to-end recruitment, onboarding/orientation, and workforce planning for technical and non-technical roles.
Manage, develop and update HR policies and procedures of the organisation, in compliance with Indonesian labour laws.
Handle employee relations, grievances and disciplinary actions in compliance with Indonesian labour laws and company policies.
Facilitate training and development programs, performance appraisals, and employee welfare and engagement initiatives.
Provide strategic HR support to leadership for organizational development, HR policies, succession planning, and culture building, including recommendations for all HR related matters.
Maintain accurate HR records and reports, including payroll coordination, leave, attendance and absenteeism and benefits administration.
Taking charge of organising events to promote employee welfare and engagement initiatives.
Stay updated on HR best practices, employment laws, and industry trends to ensure compliance and recommend improvements to HR policies and procedures.
Any other HR responsibilities, as assigned by the Company.
Oversee office and facility management, including utilities, supplies, security, and maintenance of factory or warehouse areas.
Manage company assets, vehicles, and licenses, ensuring compliance with operational and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers for office related affairs, e.g. renovations, equipment or logistics support.
Support government relations and permit handling relevant to office and industrial operations (e.g., business operations, business travel, safety, environment).
Lead efforts in health & safety (K3L) compliance and workplace standards, coordinating with HSE if separate.
Any other GA responsibilities, as assigned by the Company.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Law, or Business Administration.
Minimum 5–7 years of HR & GA experience, preferably in industrial or manufacturing sectors.
Excellent ability to speak and write in English and Bahasa Indonesia in a business setting is a must.
Solid knowledge and proficiency of Indonesian labour laws, BPJS, payroll systems, safety and K3L systems in industrial or manufacturing sectors.
Proficient in HR salary and bonus payroll and BPJS calculations is a must
Attention to detail and accuracy in work is a must
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with employees and with top management, to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
Strong problem-solving ability, organizational skills, and a high level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive HR matters.
Strong initiative to take the lead with Indonesian HR and organisational development related programs/ projects to achieve organisational and people objectives.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
Familiarity with ISO standards or OHSAS is a plus.
Qualifications in safety, environment and K3L practices is a plus.
Experience handling HR in a technical workforce environment (e.g., engineers, technicians).
Ability to work independently and lead in teams or projects.
