Job description

Here comes a new challenge for you who is seeking the next leap in your career growth, being our Business Analyst for our GoFood Growth Team!

In this role, you will lead problem-solving processes and strategy design with focus on improving demand and growth metrics for GoFood. With focus on growing GoFood affluent segments’ demand, you’ll scout for growth opportunities, recommend the product and marketing strategies, and track key growth metrics.

In short, you’ll wake up every day and think of new ways to create values with our newly-different affordable mode for the country’s beloved food-delivery service, how cool is that!

What You Will Do

  • Drive GoFood Affluent segment’s growth and monetization by analyzing user-partner interactions using Gojek’s vast data.
  • Lead end-to-end strategy execution: develop hypotheses, run A/B tests, craft product, incentive, or campaign strategies, and report key metrics to stakeholders.
  • Act as a strategic thought partner, uncovering insights to identify root causes and opportunities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Business, Product, Marketing, Regional, Research, and Intelligence teams to address user pain points and implement solutions.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking with local and international counterparts to inform strategy.

What You Will Need

  • To start, for those with BI / biz analytics background but keen to become a business decider, you are the one!
  • BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Economics, Statistics, Business Analytics or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience within one or more of the following fields: Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, Strategy and Planning, Growth
  • Hypothesis-driven thinking process and comfortable with manipulating large amounts of raw data
  • Able to uncover the narrative and relationship behind the numbers and communicate the insights to a wider audience
  • Strong knowledge of SQL/Bigquery and A/B test concept is highly desirable and basic understanding of analytic and database tools common within a marketing organization (e.g.,, Tableau, etc.)
  • A proactive and team-player attitude with general project management skills to manage projects and effectively collaborate with stakeholders

GoFood Growth pod consists of more than 50 persons that consist of different roles , we seek to improve ourselves by learning from everyone. You will get to meet with almost every team there is in Gojek, from the Product Manager, Data Science, to the Operation team. This team is the melting-pot for the Econ, Marketeers, and the Data geeks. While the script running and the campaign launching, we often kill the time by fooling around by imposing ourselves in Among Us or build an alibi as the "Loyal servant of the Arthur" in Avalon (hey, I'm not the minion guys ).
