Senior Geologist (Exploration/Modeling)

Having established ourselves firmly in a highly competitive earthworks and construction market in Singapore, we entered the coal business in Kalimantan, Indonesia in 2005 under PT KTC Coal Mining & Energy as a diversification strategy and in anticipation of the growing market demand for energy and natural resources.

Our vast experience in the earthwork and construction work in Singapore complemented and strengthened our knowledge and capability when it comes to managing open-pit coal mining in Indonesia. Senior Geologist (Exploration/Modeling)

Job Requirements:

• 40 to 45 years old.
• Bachelor's degree from a reputable university in Geology.
• Preferred minimum of 10 years working experience as a coal modelling geologist.
• Capable of operating mining, geology modelling, and resource calculation software (Minescape, Minex, Xpac, ArcGIS, GIS).
• In-depth knowledge in resource and reserve estimation referring to JORC, KCMI, USGA, JIS, and other international references.
• In-depth knowledge in coal geology comprehensively, coal proximate and ultimate analysis, and development of coal feasibility and geology study.
• Able to generate coal geology models to become mine plans (especially for long term plans).
• Broad understanding of external and internal economic factors affecting business.
• Willing to work extended hours to meet section deadlines and emergency situations; experience and capability to manage safety initiatives at various project sites are required.
• Experience in coal exploration and able to work in a cross-cultural environment.
• Good command of English (verbal and written).
• Possess POP/POM certification.
