Job summary

Sephora Indonesia is seeking a Senior General Ledger Accountant in Jakarta who will report to the Finance Controlling Manager for Shared Services and own key GL processes. You will maintain journal entries, reconciliations for assets, inventory and accruals, and support monthly/quarterly/annual reporting, audits, and statutory filings.

You will ensure IFRS compliance and collaborate with internal customers, creating robust controls and timely financial statements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 3–5 years accounting experience, preferably in Big 4.
• Fluent in English; experience in English-language environment.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for general ledger, fixed assets, inventory and accruals.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual reporting processes.
• Prepare audit schedules and assist with audits and audited financial statements.
• Support statutory submissions including audit, tax and secretarial requirements.
• Ensure transactions are recorded in accordance with IFRS and internal controls.
