Grab is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack for the Merchant Experience to join Jakarta-based onsite. You will own feature delivery for the merchant app, optimize performance, and scale tools for merchants, collaborating with QA and cross-functional teams.

The role requires 6+ years of fullstack experience, Go backend, React/Flutter frontend, and a strong focus on quality, testing, and on-call responsiveness. Onsite in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience in fullstack roles.
• Experience building distributed systems in high-growth environments.
• Strong backend with Go and frontend with React or Flutter.
• Ability to explain technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with CI/CD and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance merchant app features to improve workflows, ensuring the app is efficient, responsive, and user-friendly.
• Design scalable programming solutions using best practices such as dependency injection or MVVM.
• Analyze and optimize app performance to address latency, battery usage and storage impact.
• Write robust unit tests, integration tests, and collaborate with QA engineers to maintain quality.
• Maintain current features, resolve bugs, and enhance code functionality for long-term performance.
• Serve in the on-call rotation for critical mobile issues.
