Job summary

Balimmo Development Group in Bali is seeking a senior full stack engineer to build features across villa management CRM, construction tracking tools, and agency-facing apps. You will translate detailed briefs into production-ready code, collaborate with UI/UX designers, and optimize end-user workflows.

You’ll work on both back-end APIs and front-end interfaces, with mobile development a bonus and English as the working language. On-site relocation to Bali is expected for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/SE or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in software development or leadership roles.
• Strong command of English; working language is English.
• Proven full stack delivery across Next.js and Laravel.
• Experience with both back-end and front-end development; mobile a bonus.

You will build features across all Balimmo products — from villa management CRM to construction tracking tools and agency-facing applications.

Develop new features across web platforms and internal software, based on detailed briefs prepared by the IT manager

Understand end-user workflows and propose improvements when you identify friction or inefficiency

Follow the brief precisely — and flag discrepancies or risks before coding, not after

Avoid bugs through careful implementation; solve them quickly when they occur

Create functional prototypes when a feature requires UI validation before full build

Use AI-assisted development tools to ship faster and more reliably

Collaborate with the UI/UX designer for front-end integration

What we are looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, technical project management, or a related leadership role.

Good command of spoken and written English, as English is the working language.

Technical skills:

Proven full stack experience — you have shipped real features in production, not just tutorial projects

Comfortable with both back-end logic (APIs, databases, business rules) and front-end implementation

Mobile development experience is a strong bonus (React Native or equivalent)

Able to read and work across multiple codebases — our stack covers Next.js and Laravel

Mindset:

You think about the end user before writing the first line of code

You can design a fluid, logical UI for a feature when no mockup exists yet — not pixel-perfect, but clear and usable

You read a brief thoroughly, ask the right questions, and make technical recommendations when relevant

You use AI tools (Claude, Copilot, etc.) actively to accelerate your work — this is expected, not optional

You are based in Bali or ready to relocate — this role is on-site
