Senior Full-Stack Developer

We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer who can think beyond code. You'll work closely with the founder and CTO to build product features, run fast experiments, and help scale a high-impact platform. This is a role for someone who enjoys autonomy, values clean design, and has a strong sense of product ownership.

We’re not looking for someone who just takes tickets—we want a proactive collaborator who can spot edge cases, make smart trade-offs, and care about how the product feels, not just how it works.

Responsibilities

1. Build full-stack features end-to-end using Supabase/PostgreSQL, Node.js, React
2. Collaborate on scope and planning using Jira and Confluence
3. Work from UX concepts or wireframes to bring features to life
4. Participate in code reviews & mentor other developers in the team
5. Break work down into estimable chunks and flag risks early
6. Support lean product experiments (MVPs, painted doors, phased rollouts)
7. Write clean, maintainable code with strong attention to design fidelity and user experience

What We're Looking For

1. Deep understanding of web application architecture, API design, and scalable backend patterns
2. Experience optimising performance across both frontend (React) and backend (database queries, API efficiency)
3. Strong attention to design details and ability to translate UX into clean, maintainable code
4. High English fluency – written and spoken – with clear, structured communication
5. Experience building SaaS products in a lean, iterative environment (desirable/bonus)
6. Ability to break down complex features, estimate with confidence, and foresee edge cases
7. Comfortable working independently and owning features end-to-end with minimal oversight
8. Familiar with modern Git workflows, PR-review culture, and async collaboration in tools like GitHub, Jira, and Confluence
