Job summary

FIT HUB in Jakarta is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to build reliable, scalable web applications with a user-centric focus. You will work with product, design, and backend teams to shape frontend architecture, improve performance, and raise engineering standards.

The role requires strong React.js expertise, TypeScript, and modern frontend tooling. You will collaborate across functions, implement efficient state management, and ensure high-quality code through reviews and testing.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of frontend or web app development experience.
• Proven experience with React.js including functional components, Hooks, Context API, and Redux or similar state management.
• Strong command of modern ES6+ JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Deep knowledge of CSS3, Flexbox, Grid, responsive design, and preprocessors like Sass or Less; Tailwind CSS or styled-components is a plus.
• Experience with frontend tooling (Next.js, Webpack, Babel, Vite) and RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex, scalable frontend applications using React to deliver high-quality user experiences.
• Collaborate with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to implement features end-to-end.
• Improve code quality via code reviews, testing, documentation, and engineering best practices.
• Drive frontend performance through lazy loading, code splitting, efficient rendering, and state management.
• Evaluate and adopt frontend technologies and AI-assisted tools when they improve product quality and team productivity.
