Job summary

PT. Achivon Prestasi Abadi is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and execution of firefighting, fire alarm, and fire & gas systems for projects in Indonesia.

You will develop detailed piping layouts, specifications, and BOMs, and oversee installation and commissioning. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in fire protection systems, strong drawing interpretation skills, and proficiency with relevant design software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years' experience in Fire Protection/Fire Alarm/FGS/ICS roles.
• Proficient in designing and analyzing firefighting systems with relevant software.
• Experience in hydraulic calculation and foam/fire water sizing.
• Strong knowledge of piping materials, fabrication, installation and testing.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specs and codes.
• Excellent problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop firefighting systems to meet project requirements and industry standards.
• Provide engineering support for Fire Protection, Fire Alarm, and Fire & Gas Systems (FGS).
• Prepare piping drawings, specifications, and BOMs.
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of piping systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of existing piping infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Stay up to date with the latest piping technologies, codes, and regulations.
