Senior Finance Manager

Requirement for Senior Finance Manager

1. Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
2. Oversee treasury and banking operations, ensuring compliance with central banking regulations and optimizing interest costs.
3. Review and reconcile the general ledger and bank statements.
4. Prepare monthly departmental expense MIS with variance analysis against plans/forecasts.
5. Monitor monthly operating results and analyze variances.
6. Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial book closures.
7. Prepare management reports monthly and support statutory and internal audits.
8. Develop annual and long-term expense plans.
9. Manage cash flow effectively and monitor cash management activities.
10. Control operational costs and support the CFO in daily operations to achieve profitability goals.
11. Identify opportunities for financial and operational efficiency improvements.
12. Implement continuous improvement plans within the Centre of Excellence framework.
13. Develop automation plans to enhance finance team productivity.
14. Foster business partnerships with departmental heads to improve operational cost efficiency.
15. Review and monitor internal controls, maintaining policies and procedures, and recommending updates as needed.
16. Ensure compliance with group reporting requirements and oversee employee training and development.

Qualifications: Chartered Accountant / CPA with at least 10+ years of experience in the manufacturing sector, in a supervisory or senior managerial role.

Behavioral/Managerial Skills:

• Strong technical knowledge of P2P, OTC, R2R processes.
• Understanding of treasury operations and experience dealing with bankers.
• Excellent business partnership and communication skills.
• Good analytical skills with the ability to analyze business performance and identify trends.
• Experience with SAP, Microsoft BI tools, and automation tools.
• Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
