Job description

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Technician to join our renewable energy projects in Lombok. The role will be responsible for installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar PV systems (on-grid & off-grid), inverters, and battery systems, while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, testing, and commissioning of solar PV systems
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, inverters, and battery systems
• Troubleshoot electrical and solar PV system issues and provide effective solutions
• Ensure all work complies with electrical standards and safety regulations (HSE)
• Prepare technical reports and recommendations for improvements
• Guide and supervise junior technicians, and coordinate with Project Engineers/Managers

Qualifications:

• Proficient in English (spoken)
• Minimum Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 5 years of working experience as an Electrical Technician, preferably in solar PV or renewable energy
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation, solar PV systems, inverters, and battery systems
• Familiar with national electrical standards and HSE practices
• Able to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical drawings
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Willing to be based in Lombok and travel for project assignments
