Job summary

N Human Resources & Management Systems invites applications for a Senior ECC Veterinary Nurse based in Singapore. This on-site role currently offers 4 openings with a 4-day work week and 12-hour shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Relocation from Denpasar, Indonesia is welcomed and Employment Pass sponsorship may be available for eligible candidates. Responsibilities include triage, anaesthesia support, ICU care, radiography, surgical prep, owner communication, rounds, and mentoring

Qualifications

• A degree or diploma in veterinary technology, or a relevant veterinary nursing qualification.
• At least 7 years of work experience in the veterinary industry.
• Leadership experience (3+ years) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage and assist with new case admissions.
• Assist with anaesthesia monitoring and recovery of emergency cases.
• Support the emergency veterinarians in the care and treatment of in-patients, including ICU cases.
• Monitor critical patients in the ICU ward.
• Take radiographs and restrain patients for examination and treatment.
• Prepare patients for surgery, manage post-operative bandaging and recovery, and handle discharges.
• Communicate clearly and kindly with pet owners.
• Attend in-patient rounds and keep learning through continuing education, books and journals.
• Train junior nurses and patient care assistants, and uphold high standards of patient care.
