Job summary

SG-EDTS is seeking a Senior DevOps/Cloud Engineer to design and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP. You will build production-grade Kubernetes environments, optimize CI/CD pipelines, and implement IaC to automate provisioning.

You will lead security practices, monitor performance, and collaborate across multiple teams to ensure reliable software delivery. Your role includes designing HA/DR strategies, cost optimization, and mentoring junior engineers while documenting platform

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on DevOps/SRE/Cloud engineering experience.
• 2–3 years in a Senior or Lead role.
• Proven experience managing production environments and high-availability infrastructures.
• Mandatory skills AWS and GCP, Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, or self-managed), Docker, IaC using Terraform and Ansible; CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
• Linux administration and strong networking fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
• Build, manage, and optimize production Kubernetes platforms for high availability.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.
• Implement IaC using Terraform and Ansible to automate provisioning and configuration.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Lead DevSecOps practices including IAM and secrets management.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, Security, and Infra teams across the software lifecycle.
• Create HA, DR, backup strategies and business continuity plans.
• Optimize cloud resources and implement cost-saving measures.
• Lead incidents, drive RCA, and mentor team members for engineering excellence.
• Document platform standards and DevOps best practices for knowledge sharing.
