Artefact is a data services firm delivering data consulting and data-driven marketing solutions. We are experiencing rapid growth and seek a Data Analyst to strengthen our delivery on client projects in Jakarta.

You will perform data quality analyses, cleaning and preparing datasets, run statistical analyses, and communicate findings through reports and Power BI visuals. Collaboration with statisticians and cross-functional teams is key to translating data into business impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, or similar.
• Strong SQL, Python or R, and Excel proficiency for data querying and analysis.
• Experience with statistical libraries and data visualization tools.
• Ability to write complex queries, perform analyses, and interpret results.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain findings simply.

Responsibilities

• Data Quality Analysis & Remediation: collect, extract, and clean data from various sources.
• Analyze data using statistical techniques to uncover trends and anomalies.
• Validate results and ensure accuracy against historical data.
• Create clear reports and visuals to communicate findings, using Power BI.
• Collaborate with statisticians and teams to interpret results for census projects.
