Grab is seeking an experienced Data Engineer for the Lending Data Engineering team in Jakarta. You will design and manage end-to-end data solutions across acquisition, storage, processing, and consumption using Flink, Airflow, Spark, Kafka, and Trino.

You will report to the Data Engineering Manager, with a full-time onsite arrangement in our Jakarta Office. You will build scalable pipelines, implement governance, and ensure high data reliability for key business metrics while collaborating with

Qualifications

• 6+ years building scalable, fault-tolerant data pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java with strong SQL and data modeling.
• Expertise in Flink, Spark, Trino, Airflow, Kafka across SQL/NoSQL/Columnar databases.
• Hands-on with AWS services and event-driven architectures (S3, EMR, Redshift, Athena, Glue, Kinesis).
• Excellent communication to translate data needs to stakeholders and partners.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain scalable ETL pipelines (batch, real-time, event-driven).
• Design data lifecycle frameworks supporting streaming, API-based, serverless, and batch consumption on data lake.
• Establish data quality checks and governance using AWS Glue DataBrew.
• Monitor and optimize data platform for high availability and low latency.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to translate real-time data into business definitions.
