Job summary

NTT DATA in Jakarta is seeking a Senior Associate Data Engineer to help transform data into analytics-ready structures. You will build structured data sets and develop ETL routines to support reporting, analytics, and data science capabilities.

The role requires hands-on experience with data modeling, ETL design, and a mix of SQL and scripting. You will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data quality and scalable data architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE/IT or related field.
• Certifications such as SAP or Microsoft Azure preferred.
• Certified Data Engineer or similar preferred.
• Moderate experience in data engineering and data mining.
• Experience with large-scale analytics and multi-terabyte datasets.
• Familiar with SAP, SQL, MySQL and MS SQL.
• Scripting skills in Perl, Bash, Python.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to data model creation to enable analysis.
• Develop scalable ETL packages from source systems.
• Transform object and data models into database schemas.
• Interpret standards to produce required database components.
• Create test scenarios and validate data transformations.
• Support data migrations across databases and ERP systems.
• Define data table structures and models based on requirements.
• Develop ETL and migration documentation.
• Evaluate potential data requirements with stakeholders.
• Support scoping, requirements, and prioritization for changes.
• Recommend improvements to data components.
