Job summary

Sociolla in Indonesia is seeking a Data Analyst to help the BI team pull, process, and provide insights that answer business questions, bridging technical and non-technical teams.

You will combine business analytics, data mining, and visualizations to support data-driven decisions, forecast trends, and deliver automated reports. The role requires 3+ years in analytics, proficiency in Python or R and SQL, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in data analytics, preferably in retail or related sectors.
• Proficient in Python or R and SQL scripting.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale datasets and data integrity.

Job description

Data analyst helps the BI managers to pull, process and provide insights to answer business team’s questions, helping them to make decisions. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, but at the same time requires soft skills to be able to communicate well as he/she sits in between technical / non technical teams, and task management (ability to decide / come up with strategy in answering queries).

Key responsibilities

Requirement :

Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in retail or retail enabler industries

Proficient in programming language for data processing, such as Python or R, and SQL scripting is a must

Hands-on experience working with large-scale datasets, conducting exploratory and advanced data analysis while ensuring data integrity

Experience in business analytics, data mining, data modeling, and data visualization

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile, and proactive environment

Willing to explore and apply modeling techniques, including forecasting models, trend analysis, and scenario simulations

Proficient in English, both written and verbal
