Job summary

MatchaTalent in South Jakarta, Indonesia, is hiring a Senior Customs Clearance Manager to oversee import/export compliance, customs clearance operations, and regulatory governance across the supply chain. You will act as a principal customs authority, signatory for documentation, and partner with government authorities and logistics providers.

The role requires 7–10 years in customs clearance or international trade, PPJK preferred, and excellent English.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in Customs Clearance, International Trade, or Supply Chain.
• Minimum 5 years in customs governance within multinational organizations.
• PPJK Certification is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian customs regulations and HS codes.
• Fluent English required for regional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end customs clearance for import/export activities.
• Sign documents as authorized legal signatory for exports and imports.
• Develop and implement compliant customs strategies.
• Maintain relationships with customs authorities and regulators.
• Lead audits, inspections, and response to government inquiries.
• Oversee HS Code classification, valuation, and origin rules.
• Monitor regulatory changes and translate into process updates.
• Collaborate with supply chain, legal, finance, and regional teams.
• Identify risks and mitigate delays in cross-border shipments.
