Senior Customer Service for Export & Import
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating and processing import and export documentation, including customs declarations, invoices, and shipping manifests
- Liaising with customs authorities, Shipping Line / Air lines, and other stakeholders to ensure timely clearance of goods
- Monitoring shipment status and providing updates to internal and external clients
- Identifying and resolving any issues or discrepancies that arise during the import/export process
- Maintaining accurate records and data related to the company's import and export activities
- Supporting the implementation of new processes and procedures to improve the efficiency of the company's logistics operations
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation Management or any major
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an export/import or customs clearance role, preferably within freight forwarding industry
- Strong understanding of import and export regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using relevant software and systems for tracking shipments and managing logistics data
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English and Indonesian, both written and verbal
- Fluency in Mandarin will be an added advantage
