Senior Commissioning Engineer

Lead and supervise the commissioning of plant equipment on client sites.

Oversee the installation process of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.

Ensure all machinery and equipment are properly fitted and aligned for optimal performance.

Validate that systems operate at maximum capacity and meet specified performance criteria.

Coordinate closely with the client and internal teams to ensure project alignment and timely handover.

Responsibilities

· Understanding of PLC control systems and their operation.

· Suggest improvements to existing PLC systems and plan smooth implementation.

· Review technical documentation of client systems and machinery to understand their functions.

· Develop and propose test procedures to ensure proper functioning of equipment.

· Provide documentation supporting the test procedures.

· Supervise and conduct testing and commissioning of client systems and equipment.

· Collect data from tests and produce evidence to demonstrate compliance with assessments and regulations.

· Troubleshoot existing equipment, machinery, and systems issues.

· Collaborate with engineers and site staff for testing and repairs.

· Ensure safety standards during testing and assessment activities.

· Provide training on system testing and evaluation as needed.

· Travel to client sites as required for overseeing commissioning projects.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Profile Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, with team leadership and project management experience.

- Experience working or living in Western countries is advantageous.

- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to motivate and manage teams.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
