Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking an experienced CRA II/Sr CRA for our single-sponsor partnership in Austria. The role involves site qualification, initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits, on-site or remote, ensuring GCP compliance and data integrity.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or RN, fluency in German and English, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel across Austria, Germany and Switzerland. Prior monitoring experience and comfort with new technologies are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or RN in a related field or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice/ICH Guidelines and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Fluency in German and English.
• Must demonstrate good computer skills and be able to embrace new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Performs site qualification, initiation, interim monitoring, site management activities and close-out visits (on-site or remotely) ensuring regulatory, ICH-GCP and/or GPP compliance.
• Verifies informed consent processes and protects confidentiality; assesses factors affecting subject safety and data integrity.
• Reviews ISF vs TMF; ensures archiving of essential documents per guidelines; supports recruitment and data tracking.
• Manages site-level activities, budgets, timelines; adapts to changing priorities to meet goals.
• Acts as liaison with study site personnel and trains site team members on requirements.
